At 1:58, car #44-GTS Dodge Viper GTS-R into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: Tom Weickardt. At 1:58, car #42-GT BMW M3 GTR into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: Jörg Müller. At 1:58, car #22-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS into the pits with water temperature problems, returns to track. At 1:58, car #6-GT BMW M3 GTR into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: Boris Said. #42-GT (35 laps), #43-GT, #6-GT. Note: Car #26-GTS Saleen S7R took the
lead in class when #3-GT had its off course excursion.
At 2:05, car #57-P675 Reynard 01Q/Judd
into the pits. Fuel only, no driver change.
At 2:08, car #1-P900 Audi R8 has arrived at the paddock. At 2:09, car #10-GT BMW M3 GTR has arrived at the paddock.
At 2:12, green flag.
At 2:13, car #3-GTS Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (Fellows) passes car #26-GTS Saleen S7R (Konrad) for the lead in class.
Andy Wallace (#38-P900 Audi R8) “The
track is very, very slippery, but we’ve got a very good car. We were
up to second before I handed it over to Johnny (Herbert). I’m very
happy (so far).”
At 2:20, car #4-GTS Chevrolet Corvette
C5-R (Collins) and car #26-GTS Saleen S7R (Konrad) had side to side,
then nose to tail contact through turns 9 and 10, then onto the front
straight. Both cars were given the “unsportsmanlike” flag and told
to “knock it off”.
JJ Lehto (#42-GT BMW M3 GTR) “It’s a
good clean and dry track (now). But there’s still some dirt from the
rain. The car is handling awesome. It’s going good for us. Too bad
its not for everyone else!”
At 2:31, top three in class: #50-P900 (57
laps), #38-P900, #2-P900; #5-P675 (56 laps), #11-P675 (55 laps);
#57-P675 (51 laps); #3-GTS (55 laps), #26-GTS, #4-GTS (54 laps);

At 2:31, car #10-GT BMW M3 GTR is
officially retired from the previous accident.
At 2:32, car #23-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS has passed car #43-GT BMW M3 GTR for third in class. At 2:34, car #69-GT Porsche 911 GT3-R into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: Kye Wankum.
At 2:35, car #11-P675 Lola B2K/40/Judd has
pulled off and stopped near the start finish line, behind the
left-side wall. The driver is out of the car and walking back to the
pits across the spectator bridge.
At 2:38, car #45-GTS Dodge Viper GTS-R
into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: David Donohue.
At 2:42, car #50-P900 Panoz LMP1 Roadster
S (overall leader) into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: David
Brabham. Car #38-P900 Audi R8 (Herbert) takes the overall lead.
Bill Auberlen (#10-GT BMW M3 GTR) (at the
track after yesterday’s accident) “I’m doing good. I’m glad to
be back at the track to support the team. Its too bad things are not
better (for us). I’ve had a lot of support and really appreciate it.
Thanks – everyone.” (about today’s off during the race) “I’m
just glad I wasn’t in it when it went off again. The team worked so
hard (since yesterday), its too bad we’re out.”
At 2:46, car #15-GT Porsche 911 GT3-R into
the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: Randy Wars.
