The GT3 Grand Prix of Mosport

Grid Note: Car #30-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS
will start at the rear of the field due to a change of tires from
qualifying.
At 11:41, today’s GT3 Grand Prix of
Mosport has been declared a rain race by the sanctioning body. Teams
are free to change tires accordingly.
ALMS GT3 Grand Prix of Mosport
Current conditions: a light rain is falling, the track is quite wet, and the track temperature is 65 degrees. At 12:52, command to start engines. At 12:54, The #16-P R&S Mk IIIC/Lincoln has failed to start and is being pushed back into pit lane. The car has started in pit lane, but will have to start from the pits. All other cars have started and pulled off. At 1:00, green flag. At 1:00, car #50-P900 Panoz LMP1 Roadster S (Magnussen) as spit the Audis going into turn 1. Corner workers go the car back on track, but after a minute or more delay. At 1:01, car #1-P900 Audi R8 (Capello) spun into the tire barrier at turn 5, and stopped. At 1:01, car #51-P900 Panoz LMP1 Roadster S (Lagorce) off course at turn 5, and stopped. The car continued on after quite a delay – heading to the pits. At 1:01, car #38-P900 Audi R8 (Wallace) also off course at turn 5, into the sand trap, but continued.
At 1:01, at the end of the first lap, car
#50-P900 Panoz LMP1 Roadster S (Magnussen) is the overall leader.
At 1:02, full course yellow.
At 1:03, car #1-P900 Audi R8 into the
pits, changed right front tire, wing, nose, right upper control arm.
At 1:07, car #51-P900 Panoz LMP1 Roadster S into the pits. Extensive damage to the front of the car. At 1:09, car #38-P900 Audi R8 into the pits. Tires and fuel, no driver change.
At 1:11, green flag.
At 1:13, car #57-P675 Reynard 01Q/Judd
spun exiting turn 10, stopped near the pit wall. After a 3-point turn,
continued on in 24th place (last of the cars running).
At 1:14, car #1-P900 Audi R8 (Capello) returns to the track, 7 laps behind the overall leader. At 1:17, car #51-P900 Panoz LMP1 Roadster S is being retired with too much damage. At 1:17, car #57-P675 Reynard 01Q/Judd into the pits. Fuel only, no driver change, 20-second penalty for too many men over the wall. At 1:19, car #43-GT BMW M3 GTR (Müller) passes car #6-GT BMW M3 GTR (Stuck) for the lead in class going into turn 7. At 1:20, car #3-GTS Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (Fellows) passes the #4-GTS Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (Collins) for the lead in class. At 1:24, car #43-GT BMW M3 GTR (Müller) passes car #4-GTS Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (Collins) and is running one second per lap faster than then leading GTS car (#3 Fellows). At 1:24, car #1-P900 Audi R8 into the pits. Tires and fuel, no driver change. At 1:25, car #1-P900 Audi R8 left the pits with two wheels over the blend line. At 1:25, car #6-GT BMW M3 GTR into the pits. Tires (slicks) and fuel, no driver change. At 1:26, car #5-P675 Reynard 01Q/Judd into the pits. Tires (slicks) and fuel, no driver change. At 1:27, car #23-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS into the pits. Tires (slicks) and fuel, no driver change. At 1:29, car #22-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS into the pits. Tires (slicks) and fuel, no driver change.
At 1:30, top three in class: #50-P900 (18
laps), #38-P900, #16-P900; #11-P675 (18 laps), #5-P675 (17 laps),
#57-P675 (15 laps); #3-GTS (17 laps), #4-GTS, #26-GTS; #43-GT (17
