At 2:16, car #44-GTS Dodge Viper GTS-R into the pits for a stop and go penalty.
At 2:16, car #98-GT Porsche 911 GT3 RS into the pits, checking a for a broken tie-rod, continued.

At 2:20, #3-GTS Chevrolet Corvette C5-R has retaken the lead in the GTS class.
At 2:22, #30-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS is reported running without a window net.
At 2:28, #2-P Audi R8 passes the #51-P Panoz LMP-1 Roadster S going into turn 3 for the overall lead.
At 2:29, #6-GT BMW M3 spun and continue at turn 7.
At 2:29, car #30-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS into the pits, fixed the window net and continued. No driver change.

Steven Knight (#11-P675 Lola B2K/40) "Ever since the first day out, we've had problems with this motor. We knew we didn't have a chance. We just needed the minimum laps to win. It's more of a test day for Sebring. We tried to make the best of a bad situation. The only remedy for this problem is a complete redesign of the cooling system."

At 2:33,  #44-GTS Dodge Viper GTS-R and #4-GTS Chevrolet Corvette C5-R tangled and spun at turn 4, both continued.
