D.C. National Grand Prix Founders In Atlanta for Petit Le Mans: Breakfast Briefing Scheduled for Oct. 5 at 10:00 a.m.

The founders and organizing members of the 2002 National Grand Prix (Washington D.C.) will host a breakfast briefing, October 5, at 10:00 a.m., in the Media Center at Road Atlanta. The group will announce the final track design, plans for the 2002 race and other related topics.

NOTE:  The inaugural National Grand Prix, will feature the American Le Mans Series, and will be held July 21, 2002. A 10-year agreement between the DC Sports & Entertainment Commission and National Grand Prix Holdings, LLC to bring racing to RFK Stadium was announced at the National Mall on August 9, 2001.
