RML Take GTS Win and 4th Overall at Most ELMS

The RML Saleen S7R with drivers Ian McKellar and Bruno Lambert,  took another convincing win and fourth place overall this weekend  in front of a 30,000 strong crowd at Most in the Czech Republic on Sunday 5th August 2001.

This is Ray Mallock Ltd's third ELMS win this season which extends its lead in the teams championship and extends Ian McKellar's lead in the drivers championship.  The RML team, who established a winning pattern as the dominant force in the BTCC, is characteristically now showing the same form in the GTS category of Don Panoz' ELMS series.

Bruno Lambert qualified the car on pole for the GTS class and Ian McKellar took fastest race lap thus gaining an additional point for the drivers championship.

Team Boss Ray Mallock said "Once again the RML car ran like clockwork and I am delighted with the way the car, team and drivers performed.  The final round of the ELMS championship takes place in Vallelunga, Italy on 2nd September where I am looking forward to celebrating our first sportscar championship win since 1986".
