The 12 Hours of Sebring, which will celebrate its 51st year in 2003, is the oldest sports car endurance race in the United States.  The event attracts the second-largest sports car racing attendance in the world, exceeded only by the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Built on the site of a World War II military training airfield, Sebring International Raceway is part of the Panoz Motor Sports Group that also includes Mosport International Raceway and Road Atlanta Motor Sports Center.  The Panoz Racing School has a location at the facility, keeping it busy throughout the year.
