Located in the wine country of Northern California, Infineon Raceway has held events for the American Le Mans Series every year since the formation of the series.

The circuit is owned by Speedway Motorsports, Inc. and has undergone a tremendous facelift and transformation since being purchased by SMI several years ago.

The facility also hosts an annual NASCAR Winston Cup race, as well as NHRA drag racing events and motorcycle racing.  In addition, it is used nearly every other day of the year for testing, club racing and racing schools.
